Unbeatable price that initially felt sketchy

I came across a sale on FargoTime's website when looking for a 40mm quartz PRX. The price was so good for the website that it seemed sketchy. But I pulled the trigger anyway. The watch was delivered fast (Ontario) in a pristine packaging including everuthing but the warranty card. Now I was told that warranties are taken care by them and not the manufacturer. It seemed a bit grey but their support (Zack) was quick and assuring when I needed to switch the date on my watch from AM to PM.

The Citizen watch arrived on time, packed carefully and new in original factory box with instruction manual. It required resetting of the time, day and date. I had little trouble doing this with one small glitch. The instruction manual does not mention that internally the watch distinguishes between AM and PM, and it needs to be between 9PM and 4AM to reset the date. I tried at first with the watch at 10 o'clock, and it would not reset until I realized I should move the time 12 hours ahead. This is common with day-date watches, but the manual should say so. The watch has been keeping perfect time, is easy to read, and I love its 6-month power reserve when fully charged.

Love the watch!

I read a lot about FargoTime because they had such could deals that I thought they’re too good to be true. I felt comfortable based on the reviews and crossed my fingers when I made my order. My item was on backorder, and I became worried when I tried to reach their customer service without an answer. However, I managed to reach someone when I called their store. The guy who answered was very nice and told me they actually had the watch in store and would mail it immediately. Less than a week later (we are in the US), we got out Tissot. My husband has two other Tissot watches so we immediately could tell it was original. What a steal of a deal and what great customer service (when they eventually answered). Would highly recommend!
